The Price Pfister F049DV00 Treviso Lavatory Faucet lacks the quality one expects of Price Pfister products and is a challenge to install. The description beats around the bush implying all brass components when the water connections and drain pipes are actually cheap plastic. The cheap plastic "quick disconnect" hot and cold water fittings are a pain to assemble under a sink. The Price Pfister video shows the faucet being assembled under the sink with a special tool not included in the package (I used a 1 and 1/2 inch Crowfoot wrench - how many of you have one?). New Price Pfister hot water valves have a red marker and improved rubber seals (the old hot water seals disintegrate after ten or fifteen years of use). Putting quality seals in only the hot water valve is obviously a marketing ploy. Why not spend a few cents and install improved seals in both valves?
