The beauty of all-white pieces is their ability to mix-and-match with solid colors or boldly decorated dinnerware.  <p> Like all Corelle dinnerware, Pure White is made of laminated layers of glass that produce incredible strength while being very lightweight, thin, and stackable. This 16-piece set is comprised of four of each of the following: 10-1/4-inch dinner plate, 8-3/4-inch lunch plate, 22-ounce cereal or soup bowl, and 12-ounce porcelain mug. I hadn't had Corelle dinnerware for 20 years.  I remembered how much I loved it when I had it and how indestructible it was.  So I bought the new White Square pattern enough for 20 place settings.  By the second week one dinner plate broke in the dishwasher.  Then another one broke simply setting it on the table with food on it.  So I called and ordered another place setting for 4.  That arrived with a bowl and a dinner plate broken.  I am still waiting (a month now) for replacements for the so called "unbreakable Corelle".  Even if there is a guarantee, trying to get any item replaced is difficult.  I wouldn't recommend Corelle dinnerware anymore.  I am a very unhappy customer.
