I needed to send hard copy color pictures to a client.
<br/>My old HP 6 color printer had died.
<br/>My new HP with 3 colors plus photo black made pictures that were not good enough for business purposes.
<br/>I googled 6 color printers and found epson had a good selection plus.
<br/>I ordered the 835 all in one thinking it could replace my HP all in one.
<br/>Even with Windows 7 I still had to load the software but it was a snap.
<br/>Wow! The pictures were great but that turned out to be only the beginning.
<br/>The touch screen controls are far superior to the usual buttons and the menues are really intuitive.
<br/>I am not a computer person, I am a business and design engineer person.
<br/>I haven't read the owners manual and find everything so intuitive I don't know if I'll ever need to.
<br/>That's the best part. I'm tired of gagets that can do everything but are hard to use.
<br/>They are like a poorly designed web site where you get lost trying to find something.
<br/>This machine is really well designed and the interface with my computer is super.
<br/>It cost just a few dollars more and it was worth the difference many times over.
<br/>Oh yes. Contrary to some reviews I saw, I am impressed with the number of pictures I get with a set of ink cartridges.
<br/>I used to buy HP or Brother, or Cannon but this all in one has sold me on Epson.
