I wanted to make beds for my dogs as opposed to buying them (I have 4). This machine comes with quick start directions and I was able to make 4 beds in 1 day.  I've now started the hobby of making decorative pillows for othe people homes.the machine is a little cheap but it does just fine for a beginner like myself, come with 6 different presser foots and 4 bobbins and seam cutter and extras.For the price you I dont think you can do better.
