The Singer 9960 Quantum Stylist 600 Stitch 5 Font Sewing Machine has a ton of features and is relatively simple to get up and running for those new to sewing such as myself. It took about 30 minutes to get up and running with a little help from someone with more experience working with sewing machines.  I was surprised how quiet and smooth it ran. This machine offers a lot of stitch patterns including decorative and alphabets which takes a little practice for rookies but comes out very well once you have it down. I was able to do name tags with a little practice, patience and time.

<br/>On the downside the Singer 9960 Quantum Stylist has so many options that it is easy to become overwhelmed if you are new to sewing, there is no memory to save pattern sequences and the manual can be a bit confusing at times.

<br/>With a little more time and experience on this machine I think I will come to appreciate all the bells and whistles. Overall, I have been happy with this product and would even recommend it to individuals new to sewing such as myself. You will definitively have room to grow into the machines capabilities.
